Concrete street furniture and safety features applied in squares, parks and pedestrian zones
Public space is the most demanding testing environment for a concrete precast. It is used by thousands of people every day, exposed to vandalism, frost and intense mechanical stress. This is where the difference between a cheap mass-produced product and a concrete precast made by hand, from the right material, with an emphasis on detail becomes clear. At KLOCOK, we have been supplying concrete precast for public spaces since 1992, and some of these products are still standing in the same place today.
The photos in this section come from projects where our products are applied, there are squares, parks, pedestrian zones and public areas all over Slovakia. For each project we made concrete elements to order, different dimensions, different shapes, different surface finishes corresponding to the architectural concept of the place. We did the production, from the mold to the surface, by hand in our factory in Hranovnica.
