The production of a large-format slab begins with the design of the correct reinforcement and thickness, the quantity and distribution of steel bars must correspond to the dimensions of the slab, the expected load and the method of installation. The concrete mix is chosen with a view to minimizing shrinkage, which could cause microcracks.
LED lighting in stair treads
A large-format stair tread with integrated LED lighting is one of the most attractive products we produce. The lights or pre-treatment are built directly into the tread during production. The result is a staircase that transforms into an illuminated architectural feature at night without visible lights or cable runs.
For a customer who wants concrete stairs with LED lighting, a large-format plate is the ideal carrier for this solution. The larger surface area of the plate allows for a more elegant arrangement of lights and a cleaner result than with smaller precast units.
